There are probably many good locations around the city but I can't imagine a better one than the one I have in mind. It has a country like setting and is in the immediate vicinity of a Christian college, a dance ministry, artist workshops, a seniors Home, a funeral Home and at least eight Churches are within three or four clicks. Major shopping and entertainment centers are nearby. Great accessibility is also available from freeway systems, C-trains and pathways. This historical Christian location needs a gathering place to bring it all together and the area will provide, by its very nature, a strong support base.

The nearby college, with approximately three hundred students, needs a wholesome hangout for the student body. Students will be a mainstay, helping to keep us current, energized and relevant. A large part of our patronage will come before and after Christian and community events. Self sustaining restaurant income will be supplemented with a retail corner and special promotional events such as bringing in popular Christian recording artists. Ongoing contributions and donations will be accepted to reinvest in the community.

Permanent staff will probably consist of 3 or 4 people. Volunteers will be used as much as possible, and as much as possible we’ll find ways to reward them. We will be held to the highest level of Christian integrity and we will ensure we are doing the maximum good for the greatest number of people.

We will find ways to give to the community by helping individuals and families with basic needs directly or through other agencies. We'll work closely with many goodwill organizations.

So far, this thing seems to be too far out-of-the-box for direct support from the mainstream Church and going private may be the only option. God's will - be done.
