The time has never been better to stand up intellectually for creation as a viable alternative to atheism and materialistic ideology. Modern science is now beginning to understand and measure the intricate preciseness necessary for life from the smallest electromagnetic forces that hold everything together to the enormity of the universe and solar system synchronicity. Intelligent design requires an intelligent designer. New 21st century mico-biological concepts of irreducible complexity are also revealing the steps of macro-evolution to be unworkable. So as old 19th century theories die hard, souls will be searching for answers.

Many points of theology are very difficult to understand and every denomination or synod seems to have it's own particular explanation. Many, rightly or wrongly, have a particular agenda in their interpretation and each think they're more right than the other. To be fair this coffeehouse will be nondenominational. We won't tell people what to believe, but we will provide plenty of food for thought. In light of these times, an open and accessible Christian small group in the coffeehouse may be considered an unbiased place to learn of many different Christian positions on the big questions.

We'll run a small Library with books and current publications on new scientific and theological thinking to empower people for their edification. Most Christians know very little about the persuasive scientific, historical, archeological and prophetic evidence for creation or the resurrection. Choosing to develop a personal relationship with God can be built with confidence when based on intellectual understanding.
